Saved By The Bell Reunion – Fallon Isn’t First

So this week Jimmy Fallon had Mark Paul Gosselaar on his show as Zack Morris, the character Gosselaar played on Saved By The Bell. During this sketch/bit Fallon let Gosselaar know that he is trying to get a reunion of the cast together on his show.

From everything I have read in the press that writes about these things it would seem to be the first time the cast has been back together since the end of the series. Fallon certainly is not saying any different, taking credit for getting the cast together for a 20th reunion.

But hold on a second. What is that sound? Oh, it’s the sound of My Apocalypse Ponies.

That’s right. Adult Swim mainstay and consistently hilarious show Robot Chicken did it first. Proof?

There’s your proof. Seth Green and crew were able to pull of a reunion long before Fallon even got his late night gig. With this and the upright lifting and stealing of Fark.com headlines, Fallon has a long way to go before he becomes a serious late night talk show contender.
