Amazon now lists the game as shipping November 24th, 2009 which slips the release date 15 days. Our Pre-Order still shows a shipping date of November 9th, 2009 but we expect that to change within the next few days. Amazon.com: Silent Hill: Shattered Memories: Video Games.

Unfortunately it appears to be so. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories, on all platforms, has been pushed back to sometime in February 2010. According to an article over on Kotaku several web retailers and rental services show a pushed back release date for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories. Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Breakdown Part 1

Silent Hill: Shattered Memories is being produced by Climax Studios, the same producers who did Silent Hill: 0rigins. They have been in contact with Konami and the original Team Silent as well as Akira Yamaoka about re-imagining this game. Note that the term is re-imagining, as they are not remaking the game but taking everything you thought you knew and twisting it around. Hence the moniker “Shattered Memories”. What you thought you knew is no longer what you know.
