Resident Evil: Afterlife Greenlit

Posted by Spider on November 6, 2005 in Cinema |

Yahoo! is stating the obvious in an article about the third installment of the Resident Evil movies being greenlit.

Once again, Paul W.S. Anderson, has written the script. No word on director or cast yet (although if it doesn’t have Milla Jovovich (YO-VO-VICH) then there is something really screwy there).

IMDb is stating a 2006 release for the film and Milla as being cast. The release date may be to coincide with the predicted good reviews Silent Hill will get and a hope that it will ignite audiences to see the “original survival horror”. (How come everyone forgets about Alone in the Dark? The game not the “movie”.)

Maybe we will see Wesker this time around, or maybe Chris Redfield. Who knows?
