E3: Hideo Kojima announces Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker for PSP

Posted by Spider on June 2, 2009 in Gaming |

Just moments ago Hideo Kojima announced the PSP exclusive Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. The game is set ten years after Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater (placing it in the 1970s).

“This is a true sequel of the Metal Gear franchise,” Kojima said at the Sony E3 press conference.

Kojima promised that since this was a PSP title the game would use all features available on the PSP to make the game great. He also stated he is heavily involved in the making of this game, as are all the team from Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots.

MGS: Peace Walker is slated for a 2010 release.

More to come as E3 unfolds.
