E3 – Metal Gear Solid: Rising Destined For Xbox 360, PS3, PC

More Hideo Kojima news. This guy is everywhere during gaming conferences, in case you have been living in a cave.

Yesterday at Microsoft’s keynote Hideo revealed Metal Gear Solid: Rising. At the time the Xbox fan boys went insane with the “HA HA PS3 owners! You lost exclusive IP! Your tears, they sustain us!” trolling.

If someone had paid attention to the keynote they would have noticed that neither Hideo nor Microsoft had said the word “exclusive”. Kotaku has confirmed that the game is not exclusive and is coming for not only the Xbox360 but the PS3 and PC and well.

The game, from what we know right now, stars Raiden. Raiden is the controversial character who took over the second act of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty on the PS2 and later Xbox release.

At the time fans were split on Raiden. Some called him a whiney emo boy, others thought he was a bad ass ninja. With the release of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots the intestinal fortitude of Raiden is no longer in question.
