Silent Hill DVD Release Imminent

The release of Silent Hill on DVD to the North American market is getting closer and closer. Only four more days until it hits the streets and rental shelves.

We will keep abreast of all the happenings of the release as well as watch the ranking of the movie on rental lists.

As a great note to end on Amazon.com has lowered the price of the Widescreen edition of the DVD, as well as the Blu-ray HiDef version to $16.99 from the already low $18.99. I pre-ordered my copy last night from Amazon.com using the link to the right.

If you act now you might be one of the lucky ones who gets to check out Amazon Prime, Amazon’s second day free shipping service, for three months free. The service usually costs $79 a year and guarantees second day delivery (weekends do not count) of any product you order that qualifies.

This means I will get my copy on August 24th at the latest. Why go this route instead of the local video hut? You don’t have to change up your schedule. Everything is delivered by UPS. No waiting in line, hoping they have a copy, or any of the other hassles of buying brick and mortar.

Support your local Mom and Pop if you can, but for fast convenience and a low price that can’t be beat I suggest going through Amazon.
