Want to write/contribute to SHR? Read this

We are looking for people to contribute to the site. All you need to do is sign up for an account and leave a comment on this post. We will contact you as soon as possible with details.

We do have a few rules though:

1. Please know how to spell, or at least use a spell-checker.
2. Please know how to use grammar.
3. Please know how to use punctuation.

Otherwise pretty easy, right? We are looking for a few types of people, but all are considered equally. We are a bit Sony heavy on this site and need an Xbox person as well as a Wii person. This can be one and the same. We would also like a television and movie person, as well as a comics person.

We know what you are thinking, “does this gig pay?” If by having your name on all your articles and spread around the net is considered payment, then yes it does pay. Each article published is updated through many RSS directories as well as through our Twitter account. We are quite well retweeted.

We need people who are willing to grow with us. Our community was quite active up until about two years ago when I, Spider, had some serious personal issues that took way too much of my time from this site, and I admit I let it stagnate. I am trying to revive it, and have been getting the hits back, but I know my limits. I have other responsibilities as well even now and do not update as often as should be happening.

This is why we need people willing to grow with us. This site is a labor of love, and oh how I love it. I wouldn’t have kept paying the bills for it all these years if I didn’t. Yet, even I know when my limits have been reached, and when to ask for help. We need people who are willing to stick it out and do what it takes to bring this site not just back to the glory it once had, but to bring it farther than ever.
