Silent Hill hits North American PSN

Posted by Staff on September 11, 2009 in V.1 |

That’s right, as of yesterday’s PSN update Silent Hill is live and available for purchase.

The original PSX/PSOne game is there in all of its original glory and weighs in just shy of 300MB. The price? A paltry $5.99 for the game.

This is a relief as many PSOne Classics have been selling from $9.99 up to $14.99.

The reason this was released on PSN is to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of the game (which, yes, is this year) as well as to prep people for the imminent release of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for the Wii, PS2, and PSP.

So hop onto your PS3 or PSP, download the original classic, and relive the terror.
