Silent Hill: Shattered Memories Presale Boxes
Twitter follower MemoryOfAlessa (also a forum member under the same name) happened to be at the Gamestop in the Topanga Mall (Woodland Hills, CA) tonight and snapped this picture:
As you can see this is the promotional display box put out by retailers to advertise the coming game. It also signifies (most of the time) that pre-orders are ready to be taken. As we already knew the game is coming out on the Wii, PS2, and PSP. We also knew it would get an “M” rating, but it is nice to see it completely classified that way. Too many Hollywood horror movies tend to take the easy PG-13 (“T” in the gaming world) rating to get mass appeal. Silent Hill wouldn’t be the same without an “M” rating.
Earlier this year we already brought you the final logo for the game (see related posts), so all there is to do is pre-order and wait. Pre-orders get a copy of the soundtrack, which is expected to be given to the customer at time of pick-up. The game has a street date of November 8th, 2009 which his a little more than one month away.
More information as we get it.
