The website is still here and will always be here. There is no intention of shutting down the site, especially since it has been here for almost four years now. There have been ups and downs, extended periods of time off due to personal issues, but it will be coming back.

As of right now the News section of the site is taking a time out. Why? It has become overridden and burdensome. Too much spam, too much crap to maintain. We are switching to a new engine to run it off of.

When will it be done? When I, Spider, get damned well around to it. I have to move all the original articles over (some will be lost due to not making the grade), images, create a new theme for the new engine that will look enough like this one yet look better. This is not an easy process and is very time consuming.

"What about the forums?" you may ask. Those will remain up and open. There will be some upgrades in the forums soon as well. Still going to use the same engine as it just takes too much to move from that to another, unless I happen to find a quick and easy way. Doubt it though.

You may also be wondering about the Podcast we had going for a short time. There are plans to reinstate that as well. We have some interesting ideas coming forth for that. Keep refreshing your iTunes subscription and you will be surprised.

There will be new staff members, new mods, new admins, a lot of new stuff happening with the site soon enough. Just keep checking back, and until then visit the forums for the best, non-flammable, highly intelligent conversation about Silent Hill and other topics you can find on the net.
